My Baby is the Best!

Yesterday was my daughter’s first school show. So the whole family (includes the grandparents) went to see her. Five groups of little children (Age 2-5) had performed. My daughter was among the group of Age 3-4. She said a line of introduction all by herself and sang 2 holiday songs with the team. She didn’t have any stage fright. She was the second loudest singer in her group.
As my daughter’s parent, I thought: The first loudest singer is too loud anyway so my girl is still the best!
For the girl who sang the loudest, her parents might have thought: Oh, my girl is a natural born leader!
For the kid who showed his tummy on stage, his parents might have thought: Oh, my boy is a great comedian!
For the boy who cried the whole time, his parents might have thought: Oh, great. Let’s tape him and we will show the video in his wedding!
Every parent gained some degree of satisfaction during the show. It was such a joyful event. After the show, I just wanted to hug my daughter’s teachers. They have been doing an amazing job caring and teaching the kids.
